Rosies - Friends on the Street

LJ Hooker Gold Coast offices come together to assist those in need.

The LJ Hooker Gold Coast cell are well know for the work they do alongside local charities.

LJ Hooker Pacific Pines Principal Pascal Pierre volunteers every Friday morning to reach out to those most in need, those people who are abandoned, marginalised, socially isolated within our communities.

Rosies On The Street Volunteers are asked to commit to 4 hours once a month to outreach. Each volunteer is assigned to a team and each team goes out on to the street once a month. The team meets at the branch base at the designated time and over the course of an hour they catch up with each other to develop the sense of community and family that we take on to the street. They prepare the van, share relevant information and review recent street reports so they know what has been happening on the street. In 2016, LJ Hooker’s Gold Coast offices together raised $15,000 for the street service and in 2017 over $35,000 was raised at our annual Gold Coast Turf Club’s Stakes Day.
